Bella Linea 12-Cup Coffee Maker: Product Review

Well we didn't so much need a new coffee maker as we wanted one. I saw this Bella Linea 12-cup coffee maker the other day in "Tony Stark, Iron Man, Hot Rod Red," and had to have one. We also picked up the matching toaster just to improve the overall look in the kitchen.

Bella Linea Collection 12-Cup Coffee Maker
Well after one week of use, the Bella Linea 12-cup coffee maker is working well. It takes about 12 minutes to brew 12 cups of coffee. That's a bit slower than i would like, but it's still well within in the acceptable range. It comes with a carafe that's better than average for pouring without spillage; perhaps some day I will find a carafe that doesn't make a mess pouring.

We've been mainly drinking Tanzanian Peaberry for the last month now and it does brew up with more brightness from the Bella maker. That means it's an improvement in appearance and it's an improvement in brewing; win-win for us.

So far the only thing that I haven't liked is the permanent filter and that's not specific to this maker. They are just so time consuming to clean and paper filters are just plain easier to use.

Overall for the first week it's working well, now only time will tell how it stands up in the long run.
