San Lotano Oval Corona: Quick Review

San Lotano Oval Corona Cigar

I've smoked several San Lotano Ovals in the past but for one reason or another haven't taken the time to write a review. To correct that, I picked one up today on my weekly visit to Cigar Train. You can grab yourself a single San Lotano Oval from for $6.93

Construction of the Oval is fantastic. The oily Colorado colored wrapper is near vein free, it had some light tooth and it was rolled on with seamless skill. The foot had aromas of fermented tobacco while the free cold draw tasted like spicy cedar. Once the cigar was burning the medium body smoke had nuances of black pepper followed by a bit of ripe fruit. Those flavors were soon followed by a complex mix of honey, toast, nuts, anise, brown sugar, cocoa, cream, oak and a full bodied peppery, cocoa finish.

Super construction, fantastic, complex flavors and a forty-five minute burn time make this cigar a real winner.
