Alec Bradley King David Gran Robusto A Mike's Cigars Exclusive

Here's another exclusive from Mike's Cigars that I'm fortunate enough to review, the King David Gran Robusto by Alec Bradley.

Freeing this cigar from the cellophane, you'll see the top notch construction and realize this cigar's a real beauty. The King David cigar is covered by a silky smooth, seamless, nearly vein free Claro colored Connecticut wrapper. After clipping the triple cap, both the free draw and the foot of this well packed cigar produce light nuances of toast.

Once toasted and burning, the first mild bodied puffs of smoke have flavor notes of mild cedar, cream and sugar; a perfect combination to wake a morning palate. The burn is razor sharp as it moves up the cigar unlocking other flavors of brown sugar, toast, oak and leather. After fifty-five minutes, the cigar finishes its burn with a medium bodied mix of oak, leather and mild black pepper.

Overall the King David is nice mild/medium bodied cigar. It has top of the line construction, a super burn, balanced flavors and would be great any time you wanted a cigar on the milder side. You can pick these up from as singles, in five-packs or in boxes of 20. If you pick up a box of 20, these King David Gran Robusto cigars are less than $5.00 each and that's a deal!
